Issue: December Newsletter
Upcoming Movement Medicine Workshops

By Hanna Maria
Welcome to this last newsletter of the year. I hope that there are many fruits for all of us to gather and share from this past year of living life and of growth and leaning however individual all our journeys and experiences were. It has been both a rewarding and challenging year for me, one of facing deep and old fears head on, choosing to go through them into new expansion manifesting in my being and doing, in my work and relationships. On my path of continuously growing into more of myself, Movement Medicine has been an important piece over the last five years or so.

The embodied consciousness, the many tools for more awareness and resources in living, and the embodied practice of healing and transformation that MM offers has grown to be a stable ground for me, supporting my personal growth and expansion. It is a wonderful practice of truly ‘bringing it down’, into the body, into the earth – whatever that is – healing, insights, soul-retrieval, positive shifts, healthier behaviour, … bringing it into real and present manifestation and embodiment.

There is also a great article by Catherine Dunne in this newsletter, speaking more about the beautiful tools and practices of Movement Medicine and how they weave into life and living nurturing, supporting and guiding along the journey.

All these offerings below from the Movement Medicine calender are wonderful gems of this practice of movement, embodiment, transformation and consciousness. How inspiring to see just how many different workshops and flavours are on offer here, this is abundance!

Also, we are always happy for any contributions to the newsletter. Share your experiences, dreams or creations, share about a workshop you attended. This is the kind of platform the newsletter offers. You can send them to myself, hannaspostbox@gmail.com, or through Roland, roland@rwevents.co.uk

Based on Ya’Acov’s recent book and on his own 30-year long initiation into being a shaman, this workshop is an invitation to review your life, to further discover who you are and what is yours to give. You will skilfully be guided to meeting that ‘Jaguar’ inside you that protects fiercely what it loves, and the ‘Butterfly’, that part which is vulnerable, magically beautiful, only coming out when it really is safe to be seen. 18–20 January: Creating Change with David Mooney. Graz, Austria.
This is a rich workshop offering a variety of deep and effective tools from Movement Medicine and Macy’s Work That Reconnects to uncover and heal unhealthy repetitive patterns of behaviour, bringing change to the inner stories that may be outdated. If we wish to change the story of the world, we need to change many of our own stories that we’re thinking and re-creating. This workshop, through dance, safe guidance, play and embodiment enables us to become conscious of, and thus able to shift old and binding conditioning from society and family, which we all hold. More agency, health and freedom can come from shedding and healing outdated stories in psyche, heart and body.
