Music Medicine

By Susannah
With a fresh season of Movement and Music Medicine after the summer break, here are some exciting and inspiring news of the Music Medicine shop, offering yet more musical magic to the community. Let the music touch your soul, sing your heart, heal your body and enchant your mind.

We are proud and happy to announce the birth of a new co-creation which we think is a thing of beauty. It’s a compilation album: “Music for Life Vol 4” sold 100% in aid of the Pachamama Alliance, with a stunning spectrum of contributing artists. A huge thank you to them all:
Ayla Schafer, Chloe Goodchild, Danit, Eliza Kenyon, Neneh Alexandrovic, Reuben Darling Khan, Sarah Patterson, Stef Vink, Susannah and Ya’Acov Darling Khan, Susie Ro Prater and Volker Kaczinski.
Plus of course you, the listener, who brings your own way of listening, hearing and dancing to this music, as well as paying for it, which will support the Pachamama Alliance to support the indigenous stewards of the Amazon to protect the forest, the lungs of the planet, for the sake of all life on earth. So, we really hope you enjoy this music! Let us know! If you like this project, please help us spread news about this album and about Music Medicine in general by liking and commenting on our Music Medicine FB page. THANK YOU!

Other news:
We are also nearing the completion of the new album of Movement Medicine guided dance meditations called: “Life Grooves”. It’s 4 tracks for home practice, with Ya’Acov and myself on drums, with Stef Vink on piano and keyboard. Some time ago we asked on the Music Medicine FB page about what people wanted, and the first reply we had was a request for a “start the day” dance meditation and an “ending the day” one. Brilliant idea! So that’s what we’ve done. Two 14 minute meditations which we hope will help you start the day with a groove and a good intention, and end the day with a celebration, a good dance and a sense of gratitude. We’ve also made a new Awakening the Dancer track and a MESA practice track (micro, medio and macro practice). All tracks will be available with and without verbal instructions. At the moment we are planning to produce this as an MP3 album only, but we are open to feedback. If you would like it as a CD, let us know!

I’m very happy to have created these musical journeys with Ya’Acov, Volker and Stef.

All the very best, and thank you for reading!
